My Favorite Organizational Product for the LIbrary

One of my most popular posts is about how I organize books in my library using Demco book stops.  I get asked a lot about making a product for the book stops.  As I purchase at least 30 book stops a year, I am constantly added new signs, so it has been a growing file, and not necessarily an organized file.  But, after many years, I have finally been able to get the file together, and I have made it editable so that you can adjust it according to your Media Center.   Yay!

You can purchase the file HERE on TpT or  HERE on Teacher's Dojo.  I hope you enjoy!

  1. I am super excited about using these labels in my library. Instead of book stops, I have 1-inch binders. Will these labels work on 1-inch binders?

    1. It depends on how tall and wide the spine of the binders are. The labels measure 1 5/8 “ x 6” .

  2. I love these! I use them to label my series, and it helps the kids be so independent. Question -- what do you put on your bottom shelf? I have my dividers hanging upside down for the bottom shelf since they won't clip on. Just curious.

    1. I add a shelf to the bottom about 1 inch from the very bottom (hope that makes sense). You can see a video of how I do it on my Instagram stories. Click on Library Ideas and in the second video you can see a bottom shelf. =)
