It's time for the top 10 Junior Wildcats! Junior Wildcats are Easy and Nonfiction books that are on a kindergarten or first grade reading level. I made a special section of these books to make it easy for my early readers to find books on their reading level that they could read independently. These are the top 10 of that section.

Number 8 was a five-way tie between Baby Food by Saxton Freymann, Firehouse! by Mark Teague, A Kitten's Year by Nancy Raines Day, The Pigeon Wants a Puppy by Mo Willems, and Tanks by E.S. Budd.
The Number 7 spot was held by Frog Pajama Party by Michael Dahl, Once I Ate a Pie by Patricia MacLachlan, and Polar Bear, Polar Bear What do You Hear? By Eric Carle.
Number 6 was Llama Llama Home With Mama by Anna Dewdney.
Number 4 was Bark, George by Jules Feiffer.
Number 3 was Go, Dog, Go! by P.D. Eastman.
In second place was Just Me and My Puppy by Mercer Mayer.
And the number 1 most checked out Junior Wildcat of 2012-2013 was Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman.
