Only a week..really?!

I can't believe only a week has gone by.  It seems like it's been a month. The MC is in much better shape, but there is still lots of work to be done.  I feel like I've thrown away a whole school's worth of stuff.   I know it will all be worth it in the end.  I've been so busy cleaning out that I didn't even stop to take pictures of the progress, so you'll have to wait to see the final product.  I think it will be worth it though.

In the MC...at last!

It took what seemed like three long years, but the day has finally come.  I can hardly believe that it has happened.  I finally landed a Media Specialist job and at a fantastic little school in the county where I live.  I am so excited! 

Today I visited the MC where I will be working.  I was there to kind of scout it out to see what needed to be done.  Of course once I saw what needed to be done, I wanted to jump right in and start working.  So I ended up staying 6 hours.  Not bad for my first "unofficial" day as a MS.

I am totally exhausted from cleaning out just two rooms today, but it's a good kind of tired.  I can't wait to get up and get back at it tomorrow.  I can't wait to make my vision of the MC come to life!
