I do an AR party at the end of each 9 weeks grading period for those who have meet their 3 AR goals (quiz average, points, and book average), which is kind of a long time to wait for a reward. That's why I started the Prize Buggy so that maybe I could keep the kids motivated the whole 9 weeks to keep reading. We do something similar as a gr...I love your idea! We do something similar as a grade level. They have to read one "genre of the month" book and one AR book on their level and take the AR test. They complete a mini project on the genre book.
