I see the students every week but their check out is for 2 weeks (most only keep a week) I don't charge for overdue items, but do allow them to check out up to their max even with a late book. I also send notices once a week to individual students by homeroom...maybe I don't need to stamp them after all :) Thank you.Kathrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05826946133750199707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626478366598140547.post-32024008158322153372014-07-20T22:26:42.201-04:002014-07-20T22:26:42.201-04:00I don't date stamp. Our books don't have ...I don't date stamp. Our books don't have a place for a stamp. Classes come on a regular basis for check out and students know to bring their library books each time they come to the library to either renew or turn in. I email out overdue lists to homerooms each Friday (all day open check out day) so teachers can send students who need to return or renew that day. I don't charge for overdue items, but I do encourage students to turn in books on time or they may not get to check out new items.Jo, aka, The Book Bughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09470098447262556298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626478366598140547.post-19075078771189263552014-07-20T21:31:44.905-04:002014-07-20T21:31:44.905-04:00Thank you for your wonderful blog and information!...Thank you for your wonderful blog and information! I use your TPT products and information from the blog all the time! I wondered if you date stamp the students books when they check out. I am asking because I would like to stop date stamping so that check out will go a little faster. I actually thought of stamping upside down. LOL Thank you again.Kathrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05826946133750199707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626478366598140547.post-88087567495911069522014-07-18T20:28:48.951-04:002014-07-18T20:28:48.951-04:00Thank you so much for this amazing resource!
